Skoda Auto India has outlined its product roadmap for calendar year 2026, confirming the launch of four new models across different segments. The upcoming line-up combines updates to high-volume SUVs with performance-focused RS models, highlighting Skoda’s intent to balance mass-market appeal with enthusiast offerings in India.

The first major launch for 2026 will be the Skoda Kushaq facelift, with prices expected to be announced in March. The updated midsize SUV brings a comprehensive exterior refresh, including a redesigned front bumper, a revised grille with segmented LED elements inspired by the Kodiaq, and updated headlamps. Changes also extend to the rear, where connected LED tail-lamps and a reworked tailgate are part of the update.

Inside, the Kushaq facelift receives significant feature additions such as a panoramic sunroof, rear-seat massage function, ventilated and electrically adjustable front seats, ambient LED lighting and a larger digital instrument cluster. Powertrain options remain unchanged, with the 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI petrol engines continuing in the line-up.

Kodiaq RS to Bring Performance Focus in Q2

In the second quarter of 2026, Skoda plans to introduce the Kodiaq RS to the Indian market. The performance-oriented SUV will be powered by a 2.0-litre TSI engine producing 261 bhp and 400 Nm, paired with a seven-speed DSG. The RS treatment adds sporty design elements such as red exterior accents, blacked-out detailing and a performance-focused interior, positioning it as a niche offering for driving enthusiasts.

Kylaq Sportline+ to Add Sporty Appeal in Q3

The third quarter will see the arrival of the Kylaq Sportline+, a sportier iteration of Skoda’s sub-4m SUV. While mechanicals are expected to remain unchanged, the Sportline+ variant will focus on visual differentiation through sportier exterior cues and interior updates, aimed at younger buyers seeking a more dynamic look.

Octavia RS to Return After Strong Demand

Rounding off Skoda’s 2026 plans is the return of the Octavia RS towards the end of the year. Following the rapid sell-out of its limited 2025 allocation, Skoda has confirmed that another batch of the Octavia RS will be brought to India in Q4 2026, reinforcing its status as a halo model for the brand.

Together, these four launches underline Skoda’s strategy to strengthen its presence in India by combining refreshed mainstream models with high-performance, brand-building offerings.
