Skoda Kushaq Facelift and Monte Carlo Edition Unveiled in India
Skoda has unveiled the updated Kushaq for the Indian market, introducing a refreshed design, a more feature-rich cabin and a sportier Monte Carlo edition. Pre-bookings for the facelifted SUV have already begun, with the official launch expected in March 2026. The new Kushaq is aimed squarely at rivals like the Hyundai Creta, upcoming Tata Sierra and the next-generation Renault Duster.
What’s New in the Skoda Kushaq Facelift?

The facelift brings noticeable changes to the Kushaq’s exterior styling. Up front, the SUV now gets redesigned LED headlamps with connected DRLs stretching across the width of the car, along with a revised grille featuring piano black and chrome elements. The front bumper has also been reworked and now houses new LED fog lamps, while the side profile is freshened up with newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels.
At the rear, the Kushaq now features connected LED tail-lamps with sequential turn indicators and a glowing Skoda logo placed centrally on the tailgate. A revised rear bumper with a matte silver skid plate completes the updated look. Skoda has also introduced a wider range of exterior colour options to go with the facelift.
Inside, the cabin sees a clear step up in terms of tech and comfort. The Kushaq facelift now offers a panoramic sunroof, a new digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. A key highlight is the segment-first rear seat massage function, along with electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats. Safety remains comprehensive with six airbags, electronic stability control, disc brakes, TPMS and hill-hold control.
Monte Carlo Edition and Engine Options

Alongside the standard facelift, Skoda has also unveiled the Kushaq Monte Carlo edition. This version focuses on sportier appeal, featuring blacked-out exterior elements, red accents and Monte Carlo badging. The interior follows the same theme, with red and black upholstery setting it apart from the regular variants.
Mechanically, the Kushaq facelift continues with familiar TSI petrol engines. The 1.0-litre TSI produces 104hp and 250Nm of torque and is paired with a segment-first eight-speed torque converter automatic. Buyers looking for more performance can opt for the 1.5-litre four-cylinder TSI, which develops 147hp and 250Nm and comes with a seven-speed DSG gearbox.
Launch Timeline and What to Expect
Skoda has confirmed that the Kushaq facelift will go on sale in India in March 2026, with pre-bookings already open. With its refreshed design, improved feature list and the addition of the Monte Carlo edition, the updated Kushaq aims to strengthen Skoda’s position in the competitive midsize SUV segment. Final pricing and variant-wise details will be revealed closer to launch.
