Ranging from electric SUVs to premium offerings, these upcoming debuts underline how January continues to be a key month for new vehicle introductions in the Indian market.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor will hold the India debut of the Urban Cruiser on January 19. Already on sale in international markets, the electric SUV will be positioned as a sibling to the Maruti e Vitara but will feature a distinct front-end design inspired by Toyota’s latest global styling cues.

The Urban Cruiser is expected to be offered in two front-wheel-drive variants and could deliver a claimed driving range of up to 543 km.

Power is expected to come from a 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, paired with either a five-speed manual or an automated manual transmission.
