Upcoming Skoda cars in India

Skoda is preparing several new launches for the Indian market in 2026. After expanding its portfolio last year with models like the Kylaq, the new-generation Kodiaq and the Octavia RS, the brand is now focusing on refreshing key products and introducing a performance flagship. The upcoming lineup includes the updated Kushaq, the Kodiaq RS and the facelifted Slavia sedan.

The updated Skoda Kushaq is expected to be the brand’s first launch of 2026 in India. This mid-cycle refresh brings a number of design and feature upgrades to the popular compact SUV. The exterior receives a revised grille with chrome ribs, updated headlamps with integrated DRLs, new bumpers and refreshed faux skid plates. Skoda is also expected to introduce new 17-inch alloy wheels and connected tail lamps with sequential indicators.

Inside the cabin, the Kushaq facelift is likely to offer a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a rear seat massage function. The 1.0-litre TSI engine may also receive a new 8-speed automatic gearbox, replacing the older 6-speed automatic unit.

The performance-focused Kodiaq RS is expected to arrive in India in the second quarter of 2026. Unlike the regular Kodiaq, the RS version is likely to be imported as a completely built unit, which means it could be priced above Rs 60 lakh.

Powering the SUV is a 2.0-litre TSI engine producing 261 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission and an all-wheel-drive system. Skoda claims the Kodiaq RS can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds.

Skoda is also expected to update the Slavia sedan later in 2026. The facelift will likely bring revised headlamps, new bumpers, updated grille elements and redesigned alloy wheels. Interior upgrades may include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and improved comfort features such as rear seat massage functionality.

While the engine options are expected to remain unchanged, the 1.0-litre TSI version may also receive the new 8-speed automatic gearbox seen on the updated Kushaq.
