Production-Spec Mahindra Vision S (Baby Scorpio N) Rendered Ahead Of India Launch
Production-spec renderings of the Mahindra Vision S have surfaced ahead of its expected India launch next year. Often called the ‘Baby Scorpio N’, this upcoming SUV is likely to expand Mahindra’s lineup with a rugged yet compact offering positioned between existing models. It is also expected to use a new modular monocoque platform that will support future Mahindra SUVs.
Mahindra Vision S Launch Timeline And Positioning
The production version of the Vision S is expected to arrive in India next year. It will likely slot between the Scorpio N and the XUV 3XO, filling an important gap in Mahindra’s SUV range.

This positioning suggests a compact but tough SUV aimed at buyers who want strong road presence without opting for a full-size ladder-frame model. Its expected size could make it easier to handle in urban conditions while retaining a bold SUV character.
Design, Features And Engine Expectations
The renders hint at Scorpio N-inspired styling with an upright stance, squared windows, chunky wheel arches and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. Round LED DRLs, a chrome-accented grille and thick rear pillars further add to its rugged appeal.
Expected features include a semi-digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control and possibly a panoramic sunroof in higher trims. Petrol and diesel engine options shared with the XUV 3XO are likely, along with manual and automatic gearbox choices.
With its ‘Baby Scorpio N’ positioning, the Vision S could attract strong interest in India’s compact SUV market once launched.
