Ultraviolette X-47 Price Reduced By 40%, Battery Flex BaaS Launched
Ultraviolette has announced a major price revision for the X-47 Crossover electric motorcycle in India. The company has reduced the upfront cost by nearly 40 percent, bringing the price down from Rs 2.50 lakh to Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
The price cut has been made possible through the introduction of Battery Flex, a new Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program that allows customers to pay for the battery through a monthly subscription.
Price Cut And Battery Flex BaaS Explained

With the Battery Flex model, buyers now pay only for the motorcycle chassis upfront while the battery pack is financed separately. The subscription plan has been introduced in partnership with Ecofy and requires a monthly payment of Rs 2,499.
The program also includes a five-year warranty on the battery pack. At the end of the subscription period, the battery ownership can be transferred to the customer at no additional cost.
According to Ultraviolette, the new structure significantly reduces the initial purchase price while keeping the running cost comparable to or even lower than the average monthly petrol expense for many riders.
Performance, Range And ADAS Features
The Ultraviolette X-47 Crossover is powered by a 10.3 kWh battery pack paired with an electric motor producing 40 bhp and 100 Nm of torque. The company claims a riding range of up to 323 km on a single charge.

Performance is also a highlight as the electric motorcycle can accelerate from 0–60 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 145 km/h.
One of the standout features of the X-47 is its radar-based safety system. The bike integrates a 77 GHz rear radar capable of monitoring vehicles up to 200 metres behind and supports features such as blind-spot monitoring, lane change assist, overtake alert and rear collision warning.
Riders can also choose between three ride modes — Glide, Combat and Ballistic — depending on their riding style and performance needs.
