Toyota has introduced the Urban Cruiser Ebella as its first electric vehicle for India, positioning it as a practical, family-oriented EV rather than a niche offering. With three variants and two battery options, the lineup looks simple on paper, but the feature distribution across trims makes choosing the right version important.

The Urban Cruiser Ebella is available in three trims: E1, E2, and E3. The entry-level E1 comes exclusively with the smaller 49kWh battery, while the E2 and E3 are paired only with the larger 61kWh pack. Toyota claims an ARAI range of 440km for the 49kWh version and 543km for the 61kWh variant.
Both battery options use a front-mounted electric motor. The 49kWh version produces 144hp, while the larger battery delivers 171hp, with torque remaining the same at 189Nm.
