Top 10 Compact SUVs Feb 2026 – Nexon, Brezza, Punch, Fronx, Venue
The compact SUV segment remained highly competitive in February 2026 with several popular models posting strong numbers. Tata Motors continued to dominate the category as the Nexon retained the top position while the Punch followed closely behind.

Nexon Leads Segment, Punch Close Behind
Tata Nexon remained the best-selling compact SUV with 19,430 units in February 2026, registering a healthy 27 percent year-on-year growth. The Punch followed in second place with 18,748 units, recording an even stronger 29 percent increase compared to the same month last year.
Brezza Holds Third, Fronx Sees Major Decline
Maruti Suzuki Brezza secured third place with 17,863 units, posting a 16 percent growth year-on-year. However, the Fronx recorded one of the largest declines in the segment, with 13,898 units, down 35 per cent from February 2025.
Venue, Sonet, and Others
Hyundai Venue recorded 10,494 units with a modest 4 percent increase, while Kia Sonet posted strong growth of 28 percent with 9,750 units. Mahindra XUV 3XO registered 8,637 units. Skoda Kylaq showed healthy growth of 25 percent with 4,532 units. Hyundai Exter and Toyota Taisor recorded declines with 4,200 and 2,854 units respectively.
