Top 10 Best Selling SUVs In India Feb 2026 – Full Sales Table
SUVs continued to dominate India’s passenger vehicle market in February 2026. Compact and midsize SUVs accounted for most of the top-selling models as buyers continued to prefer vehicles with higher ground clearance, strong road presence and modern features.
The Tata Nexon emerged as the best-selling SUV in India during the month with strong demand across its petrol, diesel and electric variants. It was followed by the Tata Punch and Hyundai Creta, both of which also maintained strong sales momentum.

Tata Motors dominated the SUV chart with both Nexon and Punch occupying the top two positions. The Nexon recorded 19,430 units while the Punch followed closely with 18,748 units, highlighting the strong demand for compact SUVs in the Indian market.
The Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki Brezza also continued their strong run with 17,938 and 17,863 units respectively. Both models remain among the most popular SUVs in their segments thanks to their strong brand value and feature-rich packages.
Mahindra maintained strong presence with the Scorpio and Thar, while Maruti Suzuki’s Fronx and Victoris further strengthened the brand’s SUV lineup in the top 10 list.
Overall, the February 2026 sales data clearly shows that SUVs remain the most preferred body style among Indian car buyers, with compact and midsize SUVs continuing to drive the majority of passenger vehicle sales.
