A road accident took place on Friday on the Harsh Parvat hill road in Rajasthan’s Sikar district. A Tata 407 vehicle carrying around 40 pilgrims lost control and fell off the hill road. The pilgrims were travelling from Jeen Mata to Harsh Bhairav temple.

According to initial information, the accident happened while the vehicle was climbing the hill. Another vehicle came from the front, after which the driver lost control. The Tata 407 slipped off the narrow road and fell down.

The accident caused panic among the pilgrims travelling in the vehicle. The Tata 407 was carrying around 40 people at the time of the incident. One person named Manjeet was seriously injured in the accident, while more than a dozen pilgrims suffered minor injuries.

Injured Taken to Hospital, Locals Help in Rescue

After hearing the noise, local villagers reached the spot and helped take the injured out of the vehicle. Police and 108 ambulance services were informed immediately. All injured passengers were taken to SK Hospital in Sikar, where treatment is ongoing and the seriously injured person is under observation.
