Ola Electric Introduces ‘Ola Insiders’ For 1 Million Riders In India

Ola Electric has launched the ‘Ola Insiders’ program in India, a structured community initiative designed for its existing customer base of over 1 million riders. The Ola Electric Insiders program aims to formalise customer engagement by offering benefits on upgrades, additional purchases and referrals across its electric scooter and motorcycle portfolio.

What Is The Ola Insiders Program

The Ola Insiders program is a loyalty-focused initiative targeted at existing Ola Electric customers. It brings together upgrade incentives, multi-vehicle ownership benefits, and referral rewards under a single structured platform. With EV adoption growing rapidly in India, the company is looking to strengthen long-term engagement with its rider community.

Upgrade Benefits For Gen 1 And Gen 2 Owners

Under the program, Gen 1 and Gen 2 scooter owners can upgrade to the latest Gen 3 S1 range and the Roadster motorcycle lineup. Ola Electric is offering benefits of up to ₹50,000 on these upgrades, depending on the model and configuration.

Eligible customers can transition to models powered by the newer 4680 Bharat Cell variants, positioning the upgrade as both a financial and technological step forward.

Add-On Purchase And Referral Rewards

Existing customers can also purchase an additional Ola vehicle under the same registered name and avail benefits of up to ₹20,000. These offers include cashback incentives and MoveOS-related upgrades.

The referral component allows customers to earn up to ₹5,000 in Ola credits upon successful delivery of a referred vehicle. The referred buyer receives a cashback of ₹1,000, encouraging expansion of Ola’s EV ecosystem through word-of-mouth.

Ola Electric’s Current Product Portfolio

Ola Electric currently retails the Gen 3 S1 scooter range along with the mass-market S1 X lineup. It has also entered the electric motorcycle space with the Roadster X portfolio. The company operates a manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu and follows a direct-to-customer retail model across India.

With the launch of the Ola Electric Insiders program, the company is focusing on improving EV affordability, encouraging upgrades and expanding adoption among existing riders in India.
