Nissan India Records 10,565 Units in February, Exports Dominate
Nissan India recorded total sales of 10,565 units in February 2026, registering a 23% year-on-year growth. The strong performance was largely driven by exports, underlining India’s growing importance in the company’s global strategy.
February 2026 Sales Performance
Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. reported domestic wholesales of 2,230 units, while exports contributed 8,335 units during the month. The export-heavy mix highlights sustained overseas demand across 65 international markets.
The company stated that stable domestic demand and continued export momentum supported overall growth. Its existing portfolio, including the Nissan Magnite, remains a key contributor in the Indian market.
India’s Role and Portfolio Momentum
February also marked the market introduction of the all-new Nissan Gravite, with customer deliveries commencing from March 1. The new model is expected to strengthen domestic momentum in the coming months.
In 2025, the company crossed 1.2 million cumulative vehicle exports from India. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Nissan Motor Co. Ltd., known globally for models such as the Nissan LEAF, India continues to play a strategic role in its global export operations.
With exports forming the bulk of February volumes, Nissan’s growth trajectory remains closely tied to overseas demand while domestic expansion gradually builds.
