The Nissan Gravite MPV has entered the Indian market with strong ownership-focused benefits. The biggest highlights are a limited zero service cost offer for five years and an extended warranty option of up to ten years, aimed at reducing long-term running costs for buyers.

Free Service And Warranty Highlights

Nissan is offering a promotional zero service cost plan covering scheduled maintenance for five years. This benefit applies only to the first 5,000 confirmed bookings.

All buyers get a standard factory warranty of three years or one lakh kilometres. Customers can extend this coverage up to ten years or two lakh kilometres for added peace of mind. Deliveries of the Gravite are expected to begin next month.

Design, Features And Practicality

The Gravite is a three-row MPV built in India at the Chennai alliance facility with high localisation. It is based on the CMF-A+ platform and features C-shaped lighting elements, LED illumination, roof rails and a tall stance.

The cabin offers flexible seating from two to seven occupants. The removable third row helps expand luggage space up to 625 litres in certain layouts. Features include a touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity, digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, automatic headlamps and parking sensors.

Safety equipment includes six airbags, stability control, traction management, hill-start assistance and multiple braking support systems among over thirty standard features.

Engine Details And Future Plans

Power comes from a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine producing 72 PS and 96 Nm. It is paired with either a five-speed manual or an automated manual gearbox.

Claimed fuel efficiency stands at around 19.3 kmpl for the manual version and 19.6 kmpl for the AMT. A CNG variant is also planned for India in the near future.

Nissan has additional products lined up for India including a midsize SUV planned for 2026 and a three-row SUV expected in 2027, indicating a broader product push in the market.
