Kia Seltos Crosses 6 Lakh Sales Milestone In India Since 2019 Launch
Kia India has announced that the Seltos has crossed 6 lakh cumulative sales in the domestic market since its launch in 2019. The milestone highlights sustained demand for the mid-size SUV across both urban and non-metro markets in India.

According to the company, top variants now account for around 29 percent of total Seltos sales. This indicates a gradual shift among buyers towards higher trims that offer additional safety, technology and premium features. At the same time, entry-level and mid variants continue to see steady demand.

The Seltos entered the Indian market with multiple petrol and diesel engine choices along with automatic transmission options. Its wide feature list, connected car technology and premium cabin elements helped establish a strong early presence in the mid-size SUV segment.
Features, Updates And Kia India Presence
Over time, Kia has updated the Seltos with enhanced safety equipment, including advanced driver assistance systems, improved connectivity functions and a revised digital interface. The latest version measures 4,460 mm in length and retains multiple engine and gearbox options.

Kia India began operations in 2017 and started mass production in 2019 at its Anantapur facility, which has an annual capacity of 3 lakh units. The brand currently operates across hundreds of cities in India through an extensive sales network.
The Seltos continues to remain a key model for Kia in India, supporting the company’s growth in the competitive mid-size SUV segment.
