Mahindra XEV 9S And XUV 7XO Bookings Officially Open In India

Mahindra has opened bookings for the XEV 9S electric SUV and XUV 7XO in India at a Rs 21,000 token amount, with XUV 7XO deliveries now underway and XEV 9S deliveries starting from January 23, 2026.
Mahindra & Mahindra has officially opened bookings for the new XEV 9S electric SUV and the recently launched XUV 7XO in India. Both models can be booked online and at authorised dealerships with a refundable token amount of Rs 21,000. Test drives for the XEV 9S have already been underway since January 5, 2026.
Deliveries for the Mahindra XUV 7XO have commenced today for customers who pre-booked the top-spec AX7, AX7T and AX7L variants. Buyers opting for the lower AX, AX3 and AX5 trims will have to wait until April 2026. The prices announced for the XUV 7XO are applicable for the first 40,000 units sold.
Mahindra XEV 9S: Key Details

Launched in late November 2025, the Mahindra XEV 9S is based on the brand’s dedicated INGLO skateboard platform, similar to the XEV 9e and BE 6. The electric SUV is offered with three battery pack options – 59 kWh, 70 kWh and 79 kWh – and is positioned as one of the most feature-rich EVs in its segment.
The XEV 9S is available in multiple variants, including Pack One Above, Pack Two Above, Pack Three Above and Pack Three Above+. It comes finished in six exterior colour options: Everest White, Ruby Velvet, Stealth Black, Desert Myst, Nebula Blue and Midnight Black.
In terms of practicality, the electric SUV offers 527 litres of boot space with the third row folded, along with a 150-litre frunk. Customer deliveries of the XEV 9S are scheduled to begin on January 23, 2026. Prices start at Rs 19.95 lakh and go up to Rs 29.45 lakh (ex-showroom).
Depending on the battery pack, the XEV 9S claims MIDC ranges between 521 km and 679 km, with a real-world driving range of up to 500 km.
Mahindra XUV 7XO: What Buyers Get

The ICE-powered Mahindra XUV 7XO is priced between Rs 13.36 lakh and Rs 24.11 lakh (ex-showroom). An all-wheel-drive option is available at an additional cost of Rs 2.45 lakh. The SUV retains the familiar 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines, paired with six-speed manual and automatic gearboxes.
Compared to its predecessor, the XUV 7XO features an updated cabin layout with a standard triple-screen setup, a revised suspension configuration and a more modern interior design. Together, the XEV 9S and XUV 7XO strengthen Mahindra’s presence across electric and ICE SUV segments in India.
