Mahindra’s XUV 7XO And XEV 9S Get 93,689 Bookings Within 4 Hours
Mahindra has registered a record-breaking response for its latest SUVs, with the XUV 7XO and XEV 9S together securing 93,689 bookings within just four hours of bookings opening in India. The achievement highlights strong buyer confidence in Mahindra’s new-generation products across both ICE and electric segments.
The scale of demand is reflected in the estimated booking value, which stands at over Rs 20,500 crore at ex-showroom prices. This underlines that the response goes beyond initial hype and is backed by serious purchase intent from customers.
Demand was evenly driven by the ICE-powered XUV 7XO and the all-electric XEV 9S. While the XUV 7XO strengthens Mahindra’s core SUV portfolio, the XEV 9S marks the brand’s push into the premium electric SUV space. The strong showing for both models indicates that Mahindra’s parallel ICE and EV strategy is resonating well with Indian buyers.

Mahindra has confirmed that deliveries of the XUV 7XO have already begun, helping reduce waiting periods for customers. Deliveries for the XEV 9S are expected to commence soon, with further timelines likely to be announced.
