BMW Motorrad has launched the BMW M 1000 R in India with a starting price of Rs 33.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The high‑performance naked superbike arrives in the country via the completely built unit (CBU) route.
Bookings for the new M 1000 R have opened across BMW Motorrad dealerships in India, while deliveries are expected to begin from May 2026. The motorcycle combines superbike‑level performance with roadster styling and track‑focused technology.
BMW M 1000 R Price In India And Launch Details

The BMW M 1000 R price in India starts at Rs 33.50 lakh (ex‑showroom). The motorcycle is available in Light White / M Motorsport and White Aluminium Metallic Matte colour options.
Buyers opting for the M Competition Package can also choose the Blackstorm Metallic / M Motorsport paint scheme. BMW also offers a standard three‑year unlimited kilometre warranty along with optional extended coverage.
BMW M 1000 R Engine, Performance And Features

Powering the BMW M 1000 R is a 999cc inline four‑cylinder engine producing 210 hp at 13,750 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 11,100 rpm. The naked superbike can accelerate from 0‑100 km/h in around 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of about 280 km/h.
The bike uses BMW ShiftCam technology and features multiple riding modes, including Rain, Road, Dynamic and Race. Updated Dynamic Traction Control, launch control, and a quick‑action throttle improve performance during aggressive riding.
Design Updates, Winglets And M Competition Package

The new BMW M 1000 R features an aggressive design with dual LED headlights derived from RR models. Signature M winglets improve aerodynamics and can increase front wheel load by up to 11 kg at speeds of 220 km/h.
The optional M Competition Package adds M Carbon wheels, carbon fibre body components, adjustable rearset footrests and an M GPS Laptrigger for track use.
