2026 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Launched in India

Kawasaki has introduced the 2026 Ninja 300 in India, keeping the update minimal and focused on visual changes. Priced at Rs 3.17 lakh (ex-showroom), the entry-level sportbike carries forward its existing mechanical package while adding new colour schemes for the new model year.

For 2026, the Ninja 300 is available in two new paint options – Lime Green and Candy Lime Green/Ebony. Both colours stay true to Kawasaki’s signature green theme but feature revised graphics that help differentiate the bike from the outgoing version. Beyond these cosmetic updates, the motorcycle remains unchanged.

Engine, features and positioning

Powering the Ninja 300 is the same 296cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine paired with a six-speed gearbox. The motor produces 39hp at 11,000rpm and 26.1Nm of torque at 10,000rpm, offering smooth performance that has long been a highlight of the model.

Feature-wise, the Ninja 300 continues with a simple setup. It gets dual-channel ABS but misses out on advanced electronic aids that are now common in the segment. The bike also retains an analogue tachometer, making it one of the few motorcycles in its class to do so. Despite this, the Ninja 300 continues to appeal to riders who value refinement and the character of a twin-cylinder engine over outright tech.
