Triumph India Sales Cross 1 Lakh Units After Bajaj Partnership
Triumph Motorcycles has crossed a major milestone in India with more than one lakh motorcycles now running on the country’s roads. The achievement highlights the British brand’s growing presence in the country’s premium motorcycle segment.
The milestone comes around two and a half years after Triumph began its partnership with Bajaj Auto in 2023. The collaboration helped the brand expand its reach through locally developed motorcycles and a stronger dealer network across India.
Triumph Crosses 1 Lakh Motorcycle Sales In India

Triumph’s growth accelerated significantly after its alliance with Bajaj Auto. The partnership combines Triumph’s global engineering expertise with Bajaj’s strong manufacturing capabilities, R&D resources and wide distribution network.
This strategy helped the brand scale operations quickly and reach more buyers in the entry-level premium motorcycle segment. As a result, Triumph managed to cross the 1 lakh sales milestone in a relatively short time.
400cc Bikes Drive Triumph’s India Growth

A major contributor to this success is Triumph’s 400cc motorcycle lineup developed and manufactured in India with Bajaj. Models such as the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X have been well received by buyers thanks to their aggressive pricing, strong performance and premium build quality.
Triumph has also rapidly expanded its retail footprint and is now present in more than 200 towns with over 230 retail outlets across India.
Motorcycles from the India-made 400cc platform are also exported to 18 international markets including Japan, Australia, Mexico, Taiwan and South Korea, highlighting India’s growing role as a key production hub for the brand.
