Maruti Suzuki Model-Wise Sales in November 2025: Dzire Powers 21% Growth

Maruti Suzuki Model Wise Sales in November

Maruti Suzuki delivered a strong performance in November 2025, selling 1,70,971 cars and registering a 21% year-on-year growth compared to the same month last year, reinforcing its leadership in the Indian passenger vehicle market. The growth was led by the Dzire, which emerged as the brand’s best-selling model and underlined Maruti’s continued dominance in high-volume segments. While some models gained momentum, others faced pressure, reflecting shifting buyer preferences across categories.

Dzire and Swift Drive Maruti’s November Momentum

The Dzire was the clear highlight of November, topping Maruti Suzuki’s sales chart with 21,082 units. The compact sedan also posted a sharp year-on-year jump, reinforcing its position as one of the brand’s most reliable volume drivers. Close behind was the Swift, which continued its strong run and maintained its place as Maruti’s second-best-selling model for the month. Together, the Dzire and Swift once again demonstrated the brand’s strength in compact, mass-market offerings that appeal to a wide range of buyers.

Ertiga, Fronx and Victoris Strengthen the Core Line-Up

Maruti’s MPV and crossover portfolio also contributed meaningfully to November’s performance. The Ertiga remained a steady performer, adding consistent volumes and benefiting from its strong reputation as a practical family MPV. The Fronx, meanwhile, posted stable numbers, indicating sustained interest in the crossover-style hatchback.

The recently launched Victoris showed promising early traction with 12,300 units sold, highlighting healthy demand for new products. The Grand Vitara also continued its upward trend, reflecting Maruti’s growing footprint in the midsize SUV space.

Hatchbacks Show a Mixed Performance in November

Sales trends among Maruti’s hatchbacks were mixed. The Wagon R continued to deliver steady numbers, while the Alto stood out with a notable rebound, recording strong year-on-year growth. The Ignis managed a modest increase in sales, indicating stable niche demand.

On the other hand, the Baleno saw a decline in volumes despite its premium positioning, suggesting increasing competition and evolving buyer expectations in the premium hatchback segment.

Models Facing Pressure in Maruti’s Portfolio

Not all models enjoyed growth in November. The Brezza witnessed a slight dip in sales, while the XL6 remained largely flat. Entry-level offerings such as the S-Presso and Celerio saw sharper declines, pointing to continued pressure in the budget hatchback space despite recent incentives.

The Jimny remained a niche offering with relatively low volumes, while the Invicto continued to sit at the bottom of the sales chart, which was largely expected given its positioning and price point.

What November 2025 Sales Reveal About Indian Buyer Trends

Maruti Suzuki’s November 2025 performance highlights a clear trend in the Indian car market. Compact sedans, MPVs and crossovers are driving growth, while entry-level hatchbacks continue to struggle. New and refreshed products like the Victoris are helping offset softness in certain segments, and Maruti’s broad portfolio is allowing it to balance gains and losses effectively.

As buyer preferences continue to evolve, the brand’s ability to maintain strong volumes across multiple categories will be key to sustaining momentum in the coming months.
