Mahindra XUV 7XO Pre-Bookings Open in India for Rs. 21,000
Mahindra has officially opened pre-bookings for the upcoming XUV 7XO in India, with customers able to reserve the SUV by paying a token amount of Rs. 21,000. The XUV 7XO is expected to be launched in January 2026, with prices likely to be announced sometime next month.
The XUV 7XO is essentially a mid-life update of the current XUV700 and will feature a refreshed design along with added features, while retaining the existing powertrain options. Recent spy shots and official teasers suggest that the updated SUV will draw styling inspiration from the recently launched XEV 9S electric SUV.
Exterior changes are expected to include a revised front fascia with full-width LED DRLs, bumper-mounted LED headlamps, new dual-tone alloy wheels and redesigned tail lamps with honeycomb-style inserts. Mahindra is also likely to introduce new exterior colour options as part of this update.
Inside, the cabin is expected to get a refreshed layout with a new triple-screen setup and updated upholstery themes. Feature additions could include an electric boss mode for the co-driver seat, second-row window blinds and foldable tray tables.
Under the hood, the XUV 7XO is expected to continue with the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines, paired with manual and automatic gearbox options.
