Mahindra CEO Chooses XEV 9S Colour, Fans Approve the Black Beast
Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra has shown keen interest in the newly launched XEV 9S electric SUV. Known for his love for Mahindra vehicles and active social media presence, he shared images of the EV in Nebula Blue and Stealth Black and instantly picked his favourite.
Responding directly to Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director & CEO of Mahindra & Mahindra, Anand Mahindra wrote, “I’d like to order the Stealth Black, please. Because some vehicles wear colours. Limousines wear black.” The comment quickly gained traction online, with fans calling the XEV 9S in Stealth Black a “black beast”.
The XEV 9S comes in six colour options, including Midnight Black, Desert Myst, Ruby Velvet, Everest White and Nebula Blue. The Stealth Black shade, with its clean finish and minimal chrome, gives the SUV a premium and bold appearance.
Mahindra will open preferences for the XEV 9S from 14 December, followed by test drives from 5 January 2026. Bookings start on 14 January, while deliveries are set to begin from 23 January 2026.
