KTM 200 Duke 2024 launched with a TFT display at ₹2.03 lakh, adding smartphone connectivity and retaining its signature performance.
KTM has just launched the 2024 version of its popular 200 Duke, now featuring a much-anticipated 5-inch TFT display. Priced at ₹2.03L, this new model costs ₹5,000 more than the previous version, priced at ₹1.98 lakh.
Key Feature Updates
The main highlight of the update is the TFT display, borrowed from the larger 390 Duke. It adds modern connectivity options, such as smartphone pairing through the KTM Connect app. Riders can now enjoy turn-by-turn navigation, receive call notifications, and access other features via Bluetooth, enhancing their overall experience.
The Display also includes Supermoto ABS, Customizable RPM shift themes, and more. These upgrades are designed to appeal to tech-savvy riders.
Engine and Performance
Mechanically, the 200 Duke remains unchanged. It continues to run on the 199.5cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, delivering 25 BHP and 19.3 Nm of torque. The six-speed gearbox, paired with a slipper clutch, ensures smooth gear shifts, especially during aggressive riding.
Suspension duties are carried out by USD front forks and a rear monoshock, while disc brakes at both ends handle stopping power.
Competitors and Market Position
In India’s 200cc segment, the KTM 200 Duke takes on competitors like the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Suzuki Gixxer 250. Positioned between the 125 Duke and 250 Duke, this model balances performance, features, and price, making it an attractive choice for young, tech-focused riders.
While the price hike is slight, the new TFT display adds significant value, keeping the 200 Duke relevant in the highly competitive market.
