Hyundai Feb 2026 Sales Analysis – Creta, Venue, Aura, i20
Hyundai Motor India reported total sales of 52,407 units in February 2026, registering a year-on-year growth of 9.8 percent compared to 47,727 units sold in February 2025. Despite the annual growth, the company saw a month-on-month decline of just over 11 percent compared to January 2026. Hyundai finished fourth in the overall manufacturers’ sales standings with a market share of around 12.5 percent.
The Creta continued to dominate the brand’s sales chart, while the Venue maintained steady demand in the competitive sub-four-metre SUV segment. Strong performances from the i20 and Aura also supported Hyundai’s overall growth during the month.

Key Highlights
Creta once again emerged as Hyundai’s best-selling model with 17,938 units, posting a healthy 10 percent year-on-year growth. The Venue also continued to attract buyers with 10,494 units sold during the month.

Among smaller cars, the i20 delivered one of the strongest performances with a sharp 61 percent increase in sales. The Aura sedan also recorded notable growth of 40 percent, while the Grand i10 Nios posted steady gains.
However, some models saw declining demand. The Exter reported a 22 percent drop in sales while the three-row Alcazar declined by 28 percent. The Verna sedan also witnessed a 43 percent decline, although the recently updated version could help improve volumes in the coming months.
