Hero Vida Launches DIRT.E K3 Electric Off-Road Bike for Kids at Rs 69,990
Hero Vida has expanded its EV lineup with the new DIRT.E K3, an electric off-road motorcycle designed for children aged four to ten. Built on a modular platform that grows with the rider, the K3 focuses on safe learning, controlled performance and long-term usability for young enthusiasts.
Modular Sizing System and Kid-Focused Design
The Vida DIRT.E K3 uses an adjustable structure that changes as the child grows. Length, seat height and wheelbase expand across three stages while maintaining familiar ergonomics. The off-road stance, Modular PDC frame and 16×2.4-inch tyres give the K3 the proportions of a scaled-down dirt bike.
Motor Performance, Riding Modes and Safety
A hub motor rated at 10A continuous and 20A peak delivers 39.1 Nm of torque with smooth, predictable response. Three learning modes help children progress safely. Mode 1 limits speed to around 7–8 kmph, Mode 2 raises it to about 16–17 kmph and Mode 3 unlocks 23–25 kmph. A 160 mm rear disc brake offers confident stopping power while a front brake is available as an accessory.
Safety essentials include a magnetic lanyard kill switch that cuts power instantly if the rider loses balance. Parents can also manage performance through app-enabled controls.
Battery, Charging and Everyday Usability
The 48V, 360 Wh NMC battery is removable and charges easily at home. With the portable charger, the battery charges from 20 to 80 percent in about two hours. A simple 230V setup keeps usage convenient for parents. Kid-sized levers, impact‑absorbing components and protected wiring make the K3 durable and child-friendly.

Price, Colours and Availability
Vida has priced the DIRT.E K3 at Rs 69,990 for the first 300 units. It will be offered in Red, Purple and White. Bookings are open now and retail begins on January 15, 2026 across select dealerships in Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, Jaipur and Calicut.
The Vida DIRT.E K3 strengthens Hero’s electric portfolio with a thoughtful, safety-focused machine that supports learning and confidence-building for young riders.
