BYD Fang Cheng Bao Ti3, Ti7 Revealed With Ultra-Fast Charging

BYD has unveiled updated versions of the Fang Cheng Bao Ti3 and Ti7 electric SUVs, introducing the brand’s latest Blade Battery 2.0 technology along with ultra-fast charging capability. The new battery system allows both models to support megawatt-level flash charging, significantly reducing charging times compared to conventional EVs.

The Ti3 and Ti7 are part of BYD’s expanding electric SUV lineup and are expected to be offered globally under the BYD Ti3 and BYD Ti7 names.

Ultra-Fast Charging With Blade Battery 2.0

The biggest highlight of the updated Ti3 and Ti7 is BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery. The new battery pack supports megawatt flash charging and improved cold-weather performance.

During testing, the Ti3 charged from 10 to 97 percent in about 8 minutes and 45 seconds at a BYD flash charging station. The system can also add around 400 km of driving range in roughly five minutes of charging.

Ti3 And Ti7 Key Highlights

The Fang Cheng Bao Ti3 is a compact electric crossover equipped with a 75.6 kWh LFP battery and a rear-mounted motor producing 200 kW (268 hp). It offers a claimed driving range of up to 620 km under the CLTC cycle.

BYD Ti3 Ti7 flash charging

The larger Ti7 electric SUV delivers even stronger performance. The rear-wheel-drive variant produces 300 kW (402 hp) and offers a range of up to 755 km. A more powerful all-wheel-drive version generates up to 515 kW (691 hp).

Both models can also be equipped with BYD’s DiPilot 300 assisted driving system and a LiDAR sensor supplied by Robosense.

With the Ti3 and Ti7, BYD continues to push EV technology forward by combining long driving range with extremely fast charging capabilities.
