New Bajaj Chetak C25 Launched In India At Rs 91,399 With 113 Km Range
Bajaj Auto has expanded its electric scooter portfolio in India with the launch of the new Chetak C25. Priced at Rs 91,399 (ex-showroom), the Chetak C25 is positioned as a more accessible option in the brand’s EV lineup while retaining the solid build quality the Chetak nameplate is known for.
Battery, Range And Performance
The Bajaj Chetak C25 is powered by a 2.5 kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed IDC range of 113 km on a single charge. Charging from 0 to 80 percent takes 2 hours and 25 minutes, while a full charge is completed in 3 hours and 45 minutes using a 750W off-board charger.
The electric scooter uses a hub-mounted motor and has a top speed of 55 kmph. It offers Eco and Sport riding modes to suit different riding conditions, along with a reverse mode to make parking easier in tight spaces.

Features And Practicality
Built on a metal body construction, the Chetak C25 comes with an IP67 rating, offering protection against dust and water. Ground clearance stands at 170 mm, while kerb weight is rated at 108 kg, helping with everyday manoeuvrability.
The scooter offers 25 litres of under-seat storage and features the lowest turning radius in its segment at 1,825 mm. Feature highlights include a colour LCD display, call accept and reject function, music controls, front disc and rear drum brakes, and an on-the-go charging port for powering small devices.
Dimensions, Warranty And Options
Seat height is set at 763 mm and the wheelbase measures 1,225 mm. Bajaj offers the Chetak C25 with a standard warranty of three years or 50,000 km.
Buyers can opt for additional packages such as the TecPac priced at Rs 3,000, which unlocks added smart features. An extended warranty of up to five years or 70,000 km costs Rs 5,990, while roadside assistance is available at Rs 1,099 per year.
Colours And Positioning
The Bajaj Chetak C25 is available in multiple colour options including Indictive Black, Racing Red, Classic White, Ocean Teal (Matte), Opalescent Silver and Misty Yellow.
With competitive pricing, practical features and a usable real-world range, the Chetak C25 aims to strengthen Bajaj’s presence in the mass-market electric scooter segment in India.
