The manual gearbox has been discontinued for the new-generation model, and unlike the Fortuner, the Hilux does not receive Toyota’s 48V mild-hybrid system.

With refreshed styling, a significantly upgraded cabin, more technology, and the addition of a new 4×2 automatic variant, Toyota has made the ninth-generation Hilux a more compelling option for buyers looking for a premium lifestyle pickup.
