2 New Hyundai Cars Coming Soon: Exter Facelift And Verna Facelift

Hyundai appears to be preparing updates for two of its models in India as test mules of the Exter facelift and Verna facelift have been spotted on the road. These refreshed versions are expected to bring cosmetic tweaks, interior upgrades and additional features while retaining their existing powertrain options.

Both models play an important role in Hyundai’s lineup, with the Exter competing in the entry-level SUV segment and the Verna continuing as one of the brand’s key sedans in India.

Hyundai Exter Facelift: Expected Updates

The upcoming Exter facelift has been spotted testing with camouflage, suggesting subtle styling revisions. The overall design is expected to remain largely unchanged, though the compact SUV could receive updated front and rear bumpers along with refreshed lighting elements.

Spy images indicate the presence of H-shaped daytime running lights, similar to those seen on larger Hyundai models. Inside the cabin, the Exter facelift is expected to feature larger infotainment displays along with wider availability of features such as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Under the hood, the facelifted model is likely to retain the existing 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. It will continue to be offered with petrol and CNG fuel options.

Hyundai Verna Facelift: Features And Launch Timeline

Hyundai is also preparing a facelift for the Verna sedan. While the overall silhouette is expected to remain unchanged, minor revisions to the grille and bumpers are likely.

The bigger changes are expected inside the cabin. The updated model could feature a new steering wheel design, a curved dual-screen setup with 12.3-inch displays, ambient lighting, an electric sunroof and Level 2 ADAS technology.

Engine options are expected to remain the same, including the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and the 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine.

The Verna facelift is likely to arrive before the festive season, while the Exter facelift could be introduced later in the year.
