Yezdi Adventure and Roadster Now Available on Amazon and Flipkart in India

Yezdi has taken another step towards simplifying the motorcycle buying journey in India. The Adventure and Roadster can now be booked online through Amazon and Flipkart, allowing customers to pay the ex-showroom price digitally while completing delivery and registration through authorised dealerships.

This is not about replacing dealerships. Instead, it reflects how buying behaviour in India is evolving, especially among younger riders who prefer researching, comparing and transacting online before stepping into a showroom.

What exactly changes for buyers

The online process allows customers to select their motorcycle on Amazon or Flipkart and pay the ex-showroom amount directly on the platform. Once the payment is completed, a nearby authorised Yezdi dealer confirms the order and handles the remaining steps, including registration, insurance and final delivery.

In practical terms, the showroom visit still exists, but the decision-making and price commitment happen online. This reduces negotiation fatigue and adds a layer of transparency for buyers who already know what they want.

Accessories and custom add-ons, however, continue to remain dealership-only purchases. This ensures correct fitment and avoids post-delivery complications.

Why Yezdi is pushing online sales

Yezdi Trademark Battle Ends

Yezdi and Jawa were among the early adopters of e-commerce platforms for motorcycle sales in India. Extending this strategy to the Adventure and Roadster signals confidence in digital-first buyers, especially in urban and semi-urban markets.

For the brand, online platforms act as high-visibility storefronts. Amazon and Flipkart already host buyers searching for premium electronics, riding gear and lifestyle products. Motorcycles naturally fit into this discovery ecosystem.

For customers, it brings pricing clarity and access to bank-linked cashback and card offers that are often easier to compare online than at physical dealerships.

Coverage and availability

The online booking service currently operates across 44 cities through a network of 55 authorised dealers. Major regions covered include Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, West Bengal and several eastern and northeastern states.

This wide footprint makes the initiative more than a metro-only experiment. It positions online buying as a viable option even in tier-2 and tier-3 cities where dealership reach already exists.

Ownership assurance still remains dealer-led

Despite the digital booking route, ownership benefits remain unchanged. All motorcycles sold online are covered under the Jawa Yezdi BSA Ownership Assurance Programme. This includes a standard four-year or 50,000 km warranty, extended warranty options, roadside assistance and comprehensive maintenance packages.

This continuity is important. It reassures buyers that online purchases are fully supported long after delivery, something many Indian customers still worry about.

Bigger picture: online two-wheeler sales are becoming normal

Yezdi Adventure

Yezdi is not alone in this shift. Several India-made motorcycles from other manufacturers are already available on major e-commerce platforms. What was once seen as a novelty is slowly becoming a parallel sales channel.

However, this model works best for informed buyers. Test rides, service relationships and long-term support still depend heavily on the dealership experience.

What buyers should keep in mind

Online booking works well if you already know the variant you want and have compared offers. It is still worth checking with your nearest dealer to see whether showroom-exclusive benefits or exchange schemes offer better value.

In the end, Amazon and Flipkart are becoming booking gateways, not replacements for dealerships. For Indian riders, this hybrid approach blends digital convenience with traditional ownership support.

As more brands adopt this model, online motorcycle buying is likely to become less of an exception and more of an expectation.
