Maruti Suzuki Model-Wise Sales February 2026: Dzire, Brezza and Ertiga Lead
Maruti Suzuki reported domestic passenger vehicle sales of 1,61,000 units in February 2026. This represents nearly flat year-on-year performance compared to 1,60,791 units sold in February 2025. However, sales declined around 8 percent month-on-month from 1,74,529 units recorded in January 2026.
Despite the stable overall numbers, the model-wise performance highlights strong demand for sedans and MPVs, while several hatchbacks and some SUVs witnessed notable declines.

Dzire Leads February Sales
The Dzire emerged as Maruti Suzuki’s best-selling model for the month with 19,326 units, registering a strong 32 percent year-on-year growth. The compact sedan continues to benefit from strong fleet demand and high fuel efficiency, helping it maintain a strong presence in the segment.
The Brezza and Ertiga also delivered strong performances with 17,863 and 17,807 units respectively, reflecting continued demand for compact SUVs and family-oriented MPVs.
XL6 Growth and Small Car Decline
The XL6 recorded the highest growth in the lineup with a 93 percent year-on-year increase to 3,633 units. On the other hand, entry-level models such as Celerio and S-Presso experienced sharp declines, highlighting the ongoing shift in buyer preference toward SUVs and MPVs.
While hatchbacks like Swift and Baleno remained among the brand’s high-volume models, their sales declined slightly compared to the previous year.
