Hyundai’s sales in April 2026 saw a strong performance in the Indian market, with the company recording its highest-ever domestic sales for the month. Hyundai sold 51,902 units in April 2026, registering a 16.96% year-on-year growth compared to 44,374 units in April 2025.

Domestic sales stood at 51,902 units, marking Hyundai’s best-ever April performance in India. On a month-on-month basis, sales declined by 5.74% from 55,064 units in March 2026, which reflects typical post year-end moderation. Despite this, demand in the Indian market remains strong.
Exports Decline, Total Sales Growth Slows
Hyundai’s exports dropped to 13,708 units, down 16.41% YoY compared to 16,400 units last year. Including exports, total sales stood at 65,610 units, reflecting a 7.96% YoY growth. The numbers highlight strong domestic demand offsetting weaker global performance.
Hyundai Venue Drives Growth
A key contributor to April’s performance was the Hyundai Venue, which recorded its highest-ever monthly sales of 12,420 units. Recent updates, special editions and improved safety ratings have helped boost buyer interest.
