Greaves Electric Mobility Q3 FY26: 40% E2W Growth, 5% Market Share in India
Greaves Electric Mobility has reported strong growth in Q3 FY26 with electric two-wheeler registrations rising 40 percent quarter-on-quarter. The company logged over 18,000 units on the Vahan portal, helping it secure around 5 percent market share and a place among the top six electric two-wheeler players in India.
Greaves Electric Mobility Q3 FY26 Performance Highlights
The growth was supported by strong demand in specific regional markets. The company said it holds the leading position in Bihar with about 21.5 percent share. Tamil Nadu, Odisha and West Bengal together contribute around 21 percent of national E2W volumes, where Greaves maintains roughly 13 percent share.
In the electric three-wheeler segment, the company reported a 33 percent quarter-on-quarter increase in volumes. This was attributed to the phased rollout of the Eltra City Xtra across North, East and South India.
Market Strategy, Products and Expansion Plans
Greaves highlighted its flagship Ampere Nexus electric scooter, which uses LFP battery chemistry. The model has completed endurance rides including a Kashmir-to-Kanyakumari run of over 10,000 km and a climb to Shipki La Pass, earning entries in national record books.
The company plans to expand its retail presence in North and West India while strengthening operations in the South and East. It is also exploring export opportunities beyond its current presence in Nepal. Greaves currently operates more than 500 service and retail touchpoints across the country.
Overall, the Q3 FY26 performance indicates continued momentum for Greaves Electric Mobility as competition intensifies in India’s fast-growing electric vehicle market.
