2026 Tata Punch EV Facelift Revealed Ahead Of Feb 20 Launch In India
Tata Motors has officially revealed the 2026 Punch EV facelift ahead of its scheduled India launch on February 20. The electric micro SUV gets noticeable styling tweaks, feature updates and minor interior revisions while retaining its existing battery pack options. Here’s a closer look at what’s new.
Exterior Design Updates On Punch EV Facelift
The facelifted Punch EV gets a refreshed front design featuring a closed-off grille for a cleaner electric look. The black strip connecting the headlamps has been removed, while the lower bumper scuff plate has also been restyled.
New alloy wheel designs inspired by the Nexon EV add freshness to the profile. Tata is also introducing a new yellow shade similar to the Harrier’s Sunlit Yellow with a contrasting black roof. Rear design details are yet to be fully revealed but may mirror the updated ICE Punch styling.
Interior Features And Tech Changes

Cabin updates appear subtle but important. The Punch EV facelift is expected to feature a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with updated software similar to newer Tata EVs.
Existing features like a 360-degree camera, digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, ventilated seats, connected car tech and ambient lighting are likely to continue. There are also indications that advanced driver assistance features could be introduced, although official confirmation is awaited.
Battery Pack And Performance Details
The 2026 Punch EV facelift will retain the existing 25 kWh and 35 kWh battery packs. The smaller pack offers a claimed range of around 265 km while the larger unit delivers roughly 365 km on a full charge.
The 25 kWh version produces about 82 bhp and 114 Nm while the larger battery variant generates around 121 bhp and 190 Nm. Prices are expected to see a slight increase compared to the current model once bookings open.
