The updated Fronx has been spotted testing with an ADAS suite and a next-generation 48V Suzuki Super Ene-Charge hybrid system. This new, strong hybrid setup could make the Fronx significantly more efficient and city-friendly.
Tata Scarlet: All-New Compact SUV
Tata is readying an all-new subcompact SUV codenamed Scarlet for launch in late 2026. It’s expected to feature bold, Sierra-inspired styling and a monocoque chassis. Engine options may include the Curvv’s 1.2 turbo, the Nexon’s 1.2 turbo and Tata’s new 1.5 NA petrol.
Mahindra Baby Scorpio (Vision S Production Model)

Mahindra’s Vision S concept will evolve into a production-ready Baby Scorpio in 2026. It will keep its inverted L-shaped lights, flush handles, rugged stance and dual screens. Based on the NU.IQ modular platform will support ICE, hybrid and EV powertrains.
Hyundai Bayon: All-New Crossover for India

Hyundai will launch the Bayon in 2026 as a rival to the Fronx and Tata Punch. It will debut an all-new 1.2 TGDi petrol engine that’s compact, more fuel-efficient and hybrid-ready. The Bayon is expected to be positioned as a premium urban crossover.
