Royal Enfield Classic 650 Launched in India: Price, Specs & Features

Royal Enfield Classic 650 Debuts in India
Royal Enfield has officially launched the Classic 650 in India, a motorcycle that blends classic styling with modern engineering. Priced between Rs 3.37 lakh and Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom), the bike comes in three variants—Hotrod, Classic, and Chrome.
The Classic 650 was first unveiled at the Motoverse event in Goa and had also been showcased at EICMA in Milan. Now, it joins the brand’s growing lineup of 650cc motorcycles, sitting just below the Shotgun 650 in terms of pricing.

Classic 650 Design: Retro Meets Modern
Staying true to its roots, the Classic 650 retains the timeless appeal of the Classic 350 but with a bigger and more powerful presence. It features a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, wire-spoked wheels, curved fenders, and a twin-exhaust setup. The motorcycle is offered in four stunning colors—Bruntingthorpe Blue, Vallam Red, Teal, and Black Chrome.
A pillion seat is optional, allowing buyers to configure the bike as a single-seater for a more vintage aesthetic.
Powerful 648cc Twin-Cylinder Engine

At the heart of the Classic 650 is the same 648cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine that powers the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, and Super Meteor 650. It delivers 46.3 bhp and 52.3 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch for smooth shifting.
The motorcycle rides on a robust steel frame and is equipped with 43mm Showa front forks and dual shock absorbers at the rear. It features disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS for added safety.
Features and Equipment
The Classic 650 comes with modern yet practical features, including an LED headlamp, an analog instrument cluster with a digital display, a USB Type-C charging port, and Royal Enfield’s Tripper Navigation system. These updates make it a well-rounded offering in the mid-capacity motorcycle segment.

A New Flagship for the Classic Series
The Classic 650 carries forward the legacy of the Classic 350, which remains one of Royal Enfield’s best-selling models. With its premium design, powerful engine, and competitive pricing, the Classic 650 is set to strengthen the brand’s position in the global mid-capacity motorcycle market.
Bookings are now open across all Royal Enfield dealerships in India, and deliveries are expected to commence soon.
