Royal Enfield Classic 650 India Launch Confirmed – What to Expect

Royal Enfield is gearing up to launch the much-anticipated Classic 650 in India on March 27. This retro-styled motorcycle, inspired by the Classic 350, will be the latest addition to the brand’s 650cc lineup.

Royal Enfield is all set to introduce the Classic 650 in India on March 27, 2025. This new model joins the brand’s growing 650cc lineup, which already includes the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Super Meteor 650, and Shotgun 650.

Classic Design with Modern Touches
The Classic 650 carries forward Royal Enfield’s signature retro styling while incorporating modern elements. It features a round LED headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, chrome accents, wire-spoke wheels, and peashooter-style twin exhausts. The bike also comes with an analog-digital instrument cluster, LED lighting, and dual-channel ABS.

Engine and Performance
Powering the Classic 650 is a 647cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 46.4 hp at 7,250 rpm and 52.3 Nm of torque at 5,650 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch, ensuring smooth gear shifts. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear.
Expected Pricing and Availability
While the official pricing will be revealed at launch, the Classic 650 is expected to be priced around Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be positioned between the Continental GT 650 and Shotgun 650 in Royal Enfield’s lineup.
