These premium electric vehicles are part of MG’s strategy to expand its presence in India’s EV market.
MG M9 Electric MPV: Luxury Meets Electric Performance

The MG M9 is a full-size luxury electric MPV designed for ultimate passenger comfort. It features a spacious cabin with reclining ottoman seats, multi-zone climate control, and high-end entertainment features. Powering the M9 is a 90 kWh battery pack, which delivers a claimed range of 430 km on a single charge. With a 240 bhp motor and 350 Nm torque, it offers smooth performance suitable for city commutes and long-distance travel.
Designed for premium buyers, the M9 comes with electronically operated sliding doors, ventilated seats with a massage function, a premium audio system, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The MPV is expected to compete with high-end luxury models like the Toyota Vellfire and Kia Carnival.

MG Cyberster: India’s Fastest Electric Roadster

The MG Cyberster is a high-performance electric sports car set to redefine EV driving dynamics in India. Unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Expo, this two-door roadster boasts a futuristic design with scissor doors and an aggressive stance. It is powered by a 77 kWh battery pack paired with a twin-motor setup, producing 510 bhp and 725 Nm torque. The Cyberster can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds, making it MG’s fastest car yet.

With an estimated range of 580 km per charge, the Cyberster blends power with practicality. The model will be positioned as a premium offering, with an expected price range of ₹60–80 lakh (ex-showroom).
Launch and Deliveries
Both the M9 and Cyberster will be available through MG Select dealerships in key cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai. While the official launch date is yet to be confirmed, industry reports suggest that both EVs will hit the market in April 2025. Deliveries are expected to begin shortly after the launch.
MG aims to strengthen its position in India’s growing EV segment with these premium models, offering advanced technology, luxury, and electric performance. More details on pricing and features will be revealed at launch.
