Mahindra Thar Roxx Drops White Interiors – A Big Change Incoming?

Mahindra Ditches White Interiors for Mocha Grey
Mahindra is making waves again, and this time, it’s all about the Thar Roxx’s interiors. The brand is reportedly discontinuing the Ivory White theme, which was introduced at launch, and replacing it with a new Mocha Grey option. This shift seems to be Mahindra’s response to feedback from customers who found the white interiors impractical, especially for an off-roader.
Mocha Grey Interiors Spotted at Dealerships

Spy shots from dealer yards confirm that the Mocha Grey theme is already making its way to showrooms. This update is expected to roll out alongside the existing Mocha Brown interiors, which were previously exclusive to the 4×4 variants. The new color scheme blends dark and light tones, giving the cabin a modern, more rugged appeal. Seats, dashboard, armrests, and door pads now feature a light grey finish with contrast stitching, a practical move for those who take their Thar Roxx on adventure trails.
Feature Upgrades for 2025 Model

Beyond the interior color update, Mahindra has also added a few feature upgrades to the 2025 Thar Roxx. New additions include keyless entry, an adjustable co-driver armrest, and aerodynamic flat wipers that reduce cabin noise. These updates come at no extra cost, making the Thar Roxx an even better value proposition.
Powertrain & Pricing Details

The SUV still packs the same 2.0L mStallion turbo petrol and 2.2L mHawk diesel engines, with manual and automatic transmission options. While the petrol versions are rear-wheel drive, the diesel variants offer a 4×4 option. Pricing remains unchanged, ranging from ₹12.99 lakh to ₹23.09 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mahindra Listens to Customer Feedback
With this change, Mahindra is making the Thar Roxx more practical and in tune with real-world usage. Whether this update will win over more customers remains to be seen, but one thing is certain—Mahindra is paying attention to feedback and evolving accordingly.
