Mahindra BE 6 Formula‑E Edition Launched: Prices in India Start at ₹23.69 Lakh
Mahindra has launched the BE 6 Formula‑E Edition in India, celebrating the SUV’s role as a safety car in the global Formula‑E championship. Prices start at ₹23.69 lakh (ex‑showroom) for the FE2 variant, while the FE3 variant is priced at ₹24.49 lakh.
Formula‑E Inspired Styling
The BE 6 Formula‑E Edition gets several motorsport‑focused design updates, including revised bumpers, a new spoiler and a brushed aluminium‑finish rear skid plate. It also features unique colour options like Tango Red, Firestorm Orange, Everest White and Stealth Black.
Other enhancements include hood stripes, Formula‑E badging, orange wheel accents, a front tow hook, and orange inserts on the running board. Tweaked LED DRLs and tail lamps differentiate it from the regular BE 6.
Interior With Racing Elements
Inside, the special edition adds a transparent door panel, carbon‑fibre accents, and Formula‑E motifs on the seat backs. Orange accents extend to the steering, centre console buttons and door handles to give the cabin a sportier appeal.
Battery, Motor & Range
Powering the BE 6 Formula‑E Edition is a 79 kWh battery paired with a single rear‑wheel‑drive motor. It produces 282 bhp and 380 Nm, and Mahindra claims a range of up to 683 km on a single charge, making it one of the longest‑range EVs in its segment.
