First Look: Mahindra XEV 9S Gets a Premium Cabin With Triple Screen Setup
Mahindra has revealed a first look at the interior of its upcoming all-electric SUV, the XEV 9S. The new teaser highlights a futuristic and premium cabin design featuring a triple-screen dashboard and advanced comfort features. Set to debut on November 27, 2025, the XEV 9S represents Mahindra’s next big move in its Born Electric series, combining technology, luxury, and range in one flagship EV.
A Tech-Laden Interior With Triple Screens
The teaser shows a cabin fitted with three connected 12.3-inch displays for the driver’s instrument cluster, central infotainment, and a passenger display. This layout gives the XEV 9S a digital first look similar to luxury EVs from global brands. It also shares its dashboard design with the XEV 9e, continuing Mahindra’s Born Electric design language.
A sleek two-spoke steering wheel with Mahindra’s illuminated infinity logo adds a touch of sophistication. The minimalist dashboard, metallic accents, and premium finishes underline Mahindra’s focus on refinement and detail.
Premium Comfort and Features
The XEV 9S features a seven-seat layout with leather upholstery and sliding middle row seats for added third row comfort. It includes a panoramic sunroof, ventilated and powered front seats, ambient lighting, and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos. Key highlights also include remote parking, a powered tailgate, and Level 2 ADAS for safety.
The front passenger display enhances the premium feel, giving occupants the freedom to access entertainment or vehicle information. Together, these features make the XEV 9S one of the most technologically advanced electric SUVs from an Indian brand.
Powertrain and Range Expectations
Though Mahindra has not confirmed specifications, the XEV 9S is expected to share its powertrains with the XEV 9e. It may feature a 79 kWh battery offering around 656 km of range and a 59 kWh version with about 542 km per charge. These figures place the SUV among the top-performing EVs in its segment.
