EICMA 2025: Honda Unveils WN7 Electric Bike, V3R 900 Prototype, CB1000 GT & XL750 Transalp
Honda stole the show at EICMA 2025, unveiling a stunning lineup that blended electric innovation, raw power, and adventure-ready design. From its first-ever WN7 electric bike to the thrilling V3R 900 Prototype, alongside the CB1000 GT and XL750 Transalp 2026, Honda proved once again that its future is as exciting as its legacy.
Honda WN7
The Honda WN7 marks a bold entry into electric performance, becoming the brand’s first electric model in the FUN category. Built under Honda’s new electric direction, it breaks tradition with a frameless design, utilising the central aluminium battery case as the structural core. The result is a lightweight, yet rigid, platform with striking aesthetics.
Power comes from a 9.3 kWh lithium-ion battery producing 50 kW and 100 Nm of torque, delivering performance comparable to a 600 cc petrol bike. The WN7 represents Honda’s serious push toward electrification while preserving its reputation for refined engineering and dynamic balance.
Honda V3R 900 Prototype

One of the biggest highlights of EICMA 2025, the Honda V3R 900 Prototype introduces a 900cc water-cooled V3 engine with an electronically controlled compressor. Developed under the concept of “Non-Rail Roller Coaster,” it aims to offer guaranteed thrill and reassuring stability.
The prototype features a compact engine layout and asymmetrical side cowls for aerodynamic flow. It also debuts Honda’s new Flagship Wing emblem, which will appear on the brand’s top-tier models from next year. The V3R 900 gives a glimpse into Honda’s performance future – fusing power, agility, and technology in one dramatic package.
Honda CB1000 GT

Honda’s new CB1000 GT made its world premiere as a premium sport tourer designed for comfort and control. Powered by a 1000cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine, it’s based on the CB1000 Hornet’s diamond frame with a redesigned seat rail for improved stability and two-up touring.
It features advanced technology such as a six-axis IMU, electronic suspension control, and adaptive damping adjustment that responds to road conditions. These updates make the CB1000 GT not just powerful but exceptionally composed, ideal for riders who enjoy long-distance touring with a touch of sportiness.
Honda XL750 Transalp 2026
Rounding off the lineup, Honda revealed the 2026 XL750 Transalp with key updates. The adventure bike now gets the innovative E-Clutch system, offering seamless clutch-free riding. It produces 92 hp and 75 Nm of torque from its Euro 5+ compliant parallel-twin engine.
The 2026 version also adds a standard skid plate and fully adjustable Showa suspension, improving durability and comfort. The Transalp remains a go-to option for adventure riders looking for reliability and flexibility, and it’s expected to reach Indian BigWing dealerships soon.
