BYD Sealion 7 Price Hike From January 2026: Book At Current Rates Till Dec 31
BYD India has confirmed that prices for its flagship electric SUV, the Sealion 7, will increase from 1 January 2026. Customers who book the SUV before 31 December 2025 will still be able to purchase it at current ex-showroom prices.
Current Variant Pricing
The BYD Sealion 7 is sold in two variants in India:
- Premium (82.56 kWh): ₹48.90 lakh
- Performance (82.56 kWh): ₹54.90 lakh
Since its debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the Sealion 7 has already crossed 2,000 unit sales, showing solid demand in the premium EV segment.
The electric SUV features BYD’s advanced CTB (Cell-to-Body) structure with the Blade Battery integrated into the chassis. It also gets iTAC – Intelligent Torque Adaption Control – for better handling and traction.
The Performance variant produces 390 kW and 690 Nm, achieving 0-100 kmph in 4.5 seconds, with a claimed 542 km range (NEDC). The Premium trim delivers 230 kW and 380 Nm, offering 567 km range (NEDC) and a 6.7-second 0-100 kmph sprint.
