BMW Motorrad has officially started production of the all-new F 450 GS in India. The motorcycle is being manufactured at TVS Motor Company’s Hosur facility, marking a major milestone in the BMW–TVS partnership.

The BMW F 450 GS will replace the G 310 GS as the brand’s new entry-level adventure bike. It is powered by a 450cc, twin-cylinder engine that delivers 47.5 BHP and 43 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Built on a tubular steel frame, the bike comes equipped with 43 mm USD front forks and a rear monoshock offering 180 mm suspension travel.

BMW and TVS have also confirmed achieving a new milestone of 200,000 units produced under their collaboration. With local manufacturing, the F 450 GS is expected to be priced competitively for the Indian market while offering improved availability and service support.

The official launch timeline and pricing details are expected to be announced soon.
