All-New Kia Seltos To Be Revealed On December 10 – Key Details
The next-generation Kia Seltos 2025 is set for a global reveal on December 10 in South Korea, marking the biggest update for the popular midsize SUV since its debut. This major update comes as competition in the midsize SUV segment intensifies, and the new model will reach India in early 2026 with a much stronger design and feature package.
Major design changes outside
The new Seltos will feature its most comprehensive redesign since 2019, bringing major exterior changes inspired by global Kia models and recent Telluride updates. The front gets an upright nose with a new mesh-pattern grille. Vertical LED headlamps sit on either side, connected visually by C-shaped daytime running lights that extend into the bumper. The bonnet is more sculpted, and the bumper looks chunkier.
From the side, the SUV keeps its familiar stance but adopts new detailing. Y-shaped dual-tone alloy wheels, a sharper shoulder line, and a triangular rear-quarter window help change its proportions subtly. At the rear, C-shaped LED taillamps are linked by a slim light bar, and the bumper and tailgate have been redesigned.
Fully redesigned interior
The cabin of the new Kia Seltos 2025 will be completely reworked, signalling a major interior update aimed at giving the midsize SUV a more premium appeal. A flatter, wider dashboard will house a larger floating touchscreen paired with a digital instrument cluster in a connected layout. Materials will see an upgrade with more soft-touch textures and cleaner surfaces. Ambient lighting and revised infotainment software are expected to improve the premium feel.

Expected features for India
The Seltos has always offered a long list of features, and most of the popular equipment should return as Kia prepares a stronger feature package for India. Ventilated front seats, a powered driver’s seat with memory, a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control and six airbags are expected. The new version could also receive updated ADAS functions for better safety.
Powertrain lineup
Kia is expected to retain its current trio of engines for India as part of the 2025 Kia Seltos powertrain lineup: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. All three should continue with manual and automatic gearbox choices. There is growing talk of a hybrid version entering the lineup for select markets, and it may come to India later in the SUV’s lifecycle.
India launch timeline
The all-new Seltos is expected to enter the Indian market in early 2026, aligning with upcoming midsize SUV launches in India after its global premiere. With rising pressure in the midsize SUV space, Kia’s next-generation model aims to stay competitive through a sharper design, improved interior quality and a more advanced technology package.
