All-new Hyundai Tucson Spied Ahead of 2026 Global Unveil
Hyundai is gearing up for a major generational upgrade of the Tucson, and the first spy shots have surfaced online. Codenamed NX5, the all-new Tucson is expected to make its world debut in the second half of 2026.
What the spy shots reveal
The test mule shows an SUV with a sharper and more rugged stance than the current model. The new Tucson adopts Hyundai’s latest Art of Steel design language with bold lines inspired by the N Vision 74 concept. The front and rear profiles appear more muscular, hinting at an off-road-ready personality.

Big changes inside
The 2026 Tucson is expected to feature a dramatic interior overhaul with a fully digital layout. A wide 16:9 display is likely to run Hyundai’s new Pleos OS with a clean smartphone-like interface. Features such as Level 2.5 ADAS and a new AI-based assistant called Gleo are also expected.
All-new hybrid powertrains
Hyundai will reportedly discontinue diesel engines for the Tucson globally. Instead, hybrid and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrains will take centre stage. The PHEV variant is expected to deliver around 100km of pure electric range.
Expected timeline
The new-generation Hyundai Tucson is expected to be revealed globally in late 2026, with market rollouts to follow soon after.
