MG Motor India Sales Cross 65,000 Units in Jan–Nov 2025, Windsor EV Drives Growth

MG Motor India has posted over 65,000 wholesales between January and November 2025, marking a solid 32 percent year-on-year growth and reinforcing strong MG Motor India sales performance in 2025. The strong performance positions the brand to end the year with more than 70,000 units sold in the country.

The company dispatched 5,754 units in November 2025, contributing to steady MG Motor India November 2025 sales momentum. While slightly lower than the 6,000+ monthly volumes seen between July and October, MG continues to maintain steady growth momentum.

MG Windsor EV: The Game Changer

The MG Windsor has emerged as the key driver of sales for JSW MG Motor in India. It recently crossed the 50,000 delivery milestone in just over a year — making it the best-selling MG model in India and the most popular electric car in the country.

Its aggressive pricing and unique crossover positioning have helped accelerate EV adoption across urban buyers.

Wider Lineup Support

Besides the Windsor, the brand’s eight-model lineup includes the Comet EV, Astor, Hector, ZS EV, Gloster, MG Cyberster and MG M9. The latter two are imported as CBUs and sold via MG Select premium outlets, contributing over 1,000 units combined since July.

What’s Next in 2026

MG is gearing up to refresh its ICE portfolio next year. The Hector will receive a second facelift, while the Gloster is set to be updated as the Majestor. The company aims to improve competitiveness while strengthening its premium and electric offerings.

With strong EV momentum led by the Windsor and a broader product update cycle ahead, MG Motor India is poised to continue its growth trajectory into 2026.
