Shafali Verma Celebrates World Cup Win With New MG Cyberster Sportscar
Indian cricket fans are still celebrating the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 triumph, and Shafali Verma has added another reason to cheer. The star batter has gifted herself an MG Cyberster electric sports car, turning her victory celebration into an unforgettable moment.
MG Cyberster: Shafali’s New Electric Supercar
The MG Cyberster is priced from Rs 75 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. Shafali took delivery of the car on a cricket ground, where it was parked on a red carpet for the special occasion.
MG also shared pictures of her posing with the car, wearing an outfit matching the car’s colour.

Delivery Experience With a Dramatic Twist
A video of the event shows the car hidden inside a large collapsible box.
Shafali cuts the ribbon, the box collapses to reveal the Cyberster, and she celebrates by firing flares. She later steps inside the cabin to explore its features.
Power, Range and Performance
The Cyberster packs a 77 kWh ultra-thin battery paired with a dual‑motor AWD setup.
It delivers 510 PS and 725 Nm of torque. With Launch Control, it accelerates from 0–100 kmph in 3.2 seconds. The 110 mm‑thick battery is among the thinnest in the industry and offers a certified 580 km MIDC range.
Design and Tech‑Loaded Cabin
The electric sports car stands out with sharp LED headlights, electronic scissor doors and large vents. It rides on 20‑inch alloy wheels with arrow‑shaped LED taillights at the rear.
The convertible roof comes in red, matching Shafali’s unit. Inside, the car features dual 7‑inch displays, a 10.25‑inch digital cluster and a vertical infotainment screen.
A Stylish Celebration of Victory
Shafali Verma’s MG Cyberster is more than just a new ride — it’s a celebration of a historic win. Her sports car delivery has created a buzz among both automobile fans and cricket lovers, marking one of the most exciting post‑World Cup moments.
