2025 Mini Convertible Pre-Bookings Open in India

The 2025 Mini Convertible has opened for pre-bookings in India, marking the arrival of one of the most distinctive open-top cars in the premium compact segment. The official launch is scheduled for next month, when Mini will also announce the pricing for the new-generation model.

The new Mini Convertible retains its familiar character but introduces a sleeker and more modern look. Its electrically operated canvas roof opens or closes in just 18 seconds and works at speeds of up to 30 km/h, giving it a more practical and city-friendly appeal. The signature circular LED headlamps, octagonal grille and updated LED taillamps keep the iconic Mini identity intact.

Inside, the cabin adopts a clean and minimalistic layout with a new 9.4-inch OLED touchscreen at the centre. The interface feels futuristic while maintaining the playful personality Mini is known for.

For India, the Convertible is expected to be offered in the Cooper S trim. It uses a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 201 BHP and 300 Nm, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Mini claims a 0-100 km/h time of 6.9 seconds, giving it the performance expected from a sporty lifestyle car.

With its blend of open-air driving, compact proportions and modern features, the 2025 Mini Convertible is set to become one of the most unique lifestyle cars on sale once pricing is announced.
