Ultraviolette, the Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle startup, has officially begun its Ultraviolette UK launch, marking a major step in its global EV expansion. Known for its futuristic design language and high-performance engineering, the company showcased its complete electric motorcycle lineup at Motorcycle Live in London. Partnering with MotoMondo BV for distribution, Ultraviolette aims to strengthen its presence in the fast-growing electric motorcycles UK market.

F77 MACH 2 & SuperStreet Launched in the UK

The Ultraviolette F77 UK launch includes two variants: MACH 2 RECON and SuperStreet RECON. Both come with aeronautical-inspired styling, 30 kW peak power and 100 Nm torque. With a 155 km/h top speed and a 10.3 kWh battery offering up to 323 km IDC range, the F77 stands out in the British EV motorcycle space. Features like Bosch dual-channel ABS, multiple traction modes, regenerative braking and the brand’s Violette AI system highlight Ultraviolette’s focus on intelligent, safe urban mobility.

X-47 Crossover: World’s First Radar-Equipped Motorcycle

The Ultraviolette X-47 UK showcase became the biggest highlight. The motorcycle introduces UV HyperSense, the world’s first radar-based safety system for two-wheelers. It detects blind spots, warns riders of fast-approaching vehicles and helps prevent rear collisions—positioning the X-47 as one of the most advanced safety-focused electric motorcycles globally.

Tesseract Scooter With Radar & Dashcam Tech

Ultraviolette also displayed the Tesseract electric scooter, equipped with radar and dashcam technology—another first for the segment. With a 7-inch touchscreen, smart mirrors and 34 litres of under-seat storage, the Tesseract targets urban riders who want maximum safety and practicality.

Shockwave: Lightweight Performance Electric Motorcycle

The Ultraviolette Shockwave is built for pure performance, delivering 505 Nm at the rear wheel and 0-60 km/h in 2.9 seconds. Lightweight and aggressive, it reinforces Ultraviolette’s focus on premium EV performance.

Ultraviolette’s entry into the UK is a strategic step, especially with the UK tightening petrol motorcycle regulations. As electric motorcycles gain momentum, models like the F77, X-47 and Tesseract give the brand a strong foundation in the international EV market.
